Postby Alternate BC » Mon Sep 25, 2006 21:10

I'm in a pop mood today. Listening to Frankie goes to Hollywood right now, Buggles earlier. Pop is nice sometimes :weedman:

Today on my way to work I listened to Yowie - Cryptooology (see Cardiacs alike)

and on my way home, as a result of the Zappa conversation I had with Frost, I played Frank Zappa - We're only in it for the money...

(I can listen everything I have in my car cause I have an MP3 player and I turned all my CD's into MP3's, so I got my complete collection with me into two little CD-wallets :))

I've been in love with that soundtrack for more then 10 years now. What's your favorite song? I think mine is "This is Halloween", although every song is superb.

I had this movie when it was just out on VHS I remember. And it took me about 8 years before I discovered Cardiacs (!)

About P&R: The Tinseltown Rebellion version sucks compared to this! The original version (in fact the whole album) has that nice fat sound! Only years ago I came to discover that he stole that sound more or less from Henry Cow!

About NBC: Jeez, how could I forget Sally's Song, that's one great tune"

I sense there's something in the wind, that feels like tragedy's at hand,
and though I'd like to stand by him, can't shake this feeling that I have, the worst is just around the bend...

Oh Mr. Elfman, what a great musical present you gave us....AMEN
