1. Favourite Cardiacs' album : Sing to God
2. Favourite Cardiacs' track : Dirty Boy
3. Favourite Cardiacs' related/family/spin off/tribute album : Spratley's Japs, but just because I bought it on ebay for 65 euro. :D

Nothing too original... ::roll:

Seconds are The Garage Concerts, Buds and spawn, Tim Smith solo album.

Yeah, Oceanlandworld is a very close second for me too and I've probably listened to it more than spratleys but when I do listen to spratleys and I'm in the right mood, It's bliss :D

A somewhat predictable choice from me...
1. The Seaside
2. Loosefish Scapegrace (I only have to type that track title and I feel compelled to listen to it)
3. Spratleys!

Well at this precise moment my choices would be...

1)Sing to God(s)
2)a Ballon for Berties Party...that first riff gets me going all funny every time.
3)Spratleys Japs

Album: The Seaside CD (Counterintuitive, but I'm judging the album as a whole. Plus, if you take how punk/ska/DIY their overall approach is there, the prog bits really punch you in the gut.)

Track: "Buds and Spawn"

Spinoffs: ::oops: I just don't know them well enough to judge.

But judging by the responses here, it looks about time I dig into Spratleys ...

I admire your honesty but I would've been tempted to bullshit the hell out of such ownership, "yea, bought it direct from Tim at a gig in the 80s" :D

DAY TWO - yea, I'm being generous.

1. Songs for Ships and Irons
2. Nurses Whispering Verses - This was the very first C song I ever heard, played to me late 80s on the original cassette by a mate & it is that original cassette version I'm referring too. I don't like what they did to it for the rerecording for STG. Pleased as punch it's on there of course, but it just isn't the same.
3. Paint a Ceiling on the Sky - Sleepy People

I'm not sure if you're wanting to know if today's favourites are different from yesterday or whether this is more a 'second favourite' list, but here are some names anyway...

1. All That Glitters Is A Mare's Nest
2. Fiery Gun Hand
3. William D Drake's first album

Giddy

Yea, a seconds list really....or maybe a bit of both, let's be flexible. :D

 No wonder you're Giddy.

For the record, mine's the same as yesterday.

No, wait - favourite song is 'Nurses Whispering Verses' - the STG version.
