Yesterday I watched Rescue Dawn. What a great movie that was! Christian Bale definitely is one of my favorite actors right now. The only thing is to me he stays the American Psycho, no matter what.
In the Netherlands we call it "Het Swiebertje Effect"

I am very sensitive to noise, so I wear earplugs outside the house and we don't have any sound on the TV...just subtitles...so it's fine...

Anyway...I wouldn't have understood the film otherwise...as I can't speak Spanish...

Just in case anyone asks...watching Cardiacs really hurts... :(

That's a huge NO Ady...!

soz pet.....that was my idea of a joke! if anything as i avoid xmas like the plague,i wouldn't mind some decent films to watch on xmas day as xmas telly is utter shite in its purest form.........well apart from doctor who.

i watched a quality swedish film the other day....might have mentioned it before but i can't be arsed to check.....its called EVIL-about a bully who gets sent to a boarding school-the films set in the 50's....one of the best under rated gems i've seen in years....quality acting and direction-i found a trailer:

go see it!

Borat is fantastic, I enjoyed it twice as much as I'm not that keen on his little segments on Da Ali G Show so I was pleasantly surprised as well as entertained. He was robbed of best actor by wossit... King of Scotland.

I was pleasantly surprised by that. Ashton Kutcher is, of course, bloody awful but it doesn't really matter with that type of film. I thought it was trashy and exploitative, especially the molester uncle bit, but it was still quite good fun in a throw away, trashy film kind of way.

The first time I watched - I really did think about turning it off due to the acting... I'm glad I didn't - it's a great story.
