This is me: Erasmus (apparently). Do you agree?
what are you?
I'm procrastinating. I'm sitting at home as I cannot walk. I'm supposed to be doing 'real work' but I'd rather mess about on here instead.

I didn't commit to either extreme, but only left it Neutral once. Hope this helps. They weren't difficult to answer, considering I hardly know you

I was just reading about this this morning. Some people want the movie banned in the US.

They're all the same these fantasy films, it's too obvious and boring that everything primarily in a book becomes a movie -- the C S Lewis one was buggered by talking animals, they're too realistic, and generic. I'm surprised Pulman bothered to allow it to happen, he always comes across as a properly intelligent writer who cares about his job and it's effect above all else.
I started the Northern Lights, as nudged to by my daughter, and because of my short attention span with fiction managed to get to about chapter three -- i thought it was very well written (despite what was said on the Reading thread by someone; each to his own) and it would be nice to think it could just stay as a well-written book.
Old Git.

The trilogy is fantastic. I am not generally a fan of fantasy either. I am taking Mrs. Higgy to a preview of the film tomorrow (it's her birthday). We are expecting to be disappointed (films rarely compare well with the book on which they are based), but at the same time are very excited!!!
Oh, and I am Haythia, the Raccoon!

And I have already transformed Carli's Daemon into a monkey of some sort (apologies already offered).
