I wasn't feeling doom at first but it ended up being an alright distraction.
I'm in the same boat, nothing really new to play at the minute. Always just find myself sticking on a radio show and jumping into spelunky.
Did you ever get into spelunky, worms? It's THE perfect game. Might be worth a revisit if you're at a loss.

Yeah, Doom got better in Hell, and there's something to be said for a game you don't want to play much of at a sitting.

Yeah, I got to the point where I usually got through to the dark wet levels, and that was the limit of my Spelunkiness.

It's ridiculous that you don't do Dark Souls One at least. Ridiculous. Offline.

I got XCOM2 too when they offered it and I felt flush. When I come back off me olidees and feel a bit depressed, I'll play that.

Not listened to any Cardiacs things for quite a while really. Oh well. I'll play Dowling Poole on me olidees.

I can't seem to get into the dowling poole. I keep trying. I think it might be the guys voice, something about it repels me. Such a shame, such a stupid silly thing in my own cunty brain pushing me away.
I'll give it another go. I'm right in the mood for brainless poppy funtimes.

I think dark souls is just too slow and methodical for me. My lizard brain just wants instant, twitchy gratification.

I started drinking again after a doctor prescribed me some sad grief/bed wet pills and some amateur psychologist planted weird ideas and resentment in my brain. Down off the wagon and under the wheels, I knew there was something missing. Hancock was onto something and as you've always said, it's fvcking bullshit. Does way more harm than good. Especially for onions.

I remember playing the first dark souls and it taking me so long to move around the map let alone swing my sword and the first boss being trial and error and I just thought, for fucks sake, I can get all this in other games at 10 times the speed, why am I bothering?

Every time you think you're done with spelunky, you should go back because mlehm mleh mlehm meh meh meh meh mleh.

I like Geoguessr, coz you learn how to tell one country from another by the tiny differences in road markings and telegraph poles (you also learn how much of the google-mapped world is just long straight roads in the middle of nowhere).
