I agree, i could live with Paul Cook leaving, but i think that Martin writes the most music, with Mike.
I believe there's one album where Martin didn't write so much of the music because he was busy with other things, it's one of my least favourite albums.

We'll see how things develop. I'm hoping they will ask Jem (of Frost*) to join. He writes a good tune and is a great keyboard player.

no I'm not on the IQ forum.......
I was a big fan way back in the old Marquee days - probably saw them as many times as Cardiacs but kind of lost interest when Peter was replaced by that other geezer. Then when Peter rejoined I found I regained my interest again !!

Only seen them a couple of times in recent years, but I have to say that their recent albums have been consistently excellent :)
