No comment, currently.

Other than, every auction I've ever seen for it ended up over 100 pounds, so it depends how you define value.

Well, I have a different definition of value to most of the people stumping up £100+ for a CD EP by a band who are very niche. I would pay about £25 max for it, but then that's just me. I suppose it's a bit like the world of art - the value is subjective.
Hello little doggy,
My, you are a nice dog,
What did you just say then?
You could do some tricks! Oh, good, then will you show me?
My word that's a good one!
Would you like a cigarette?
No you can't, they're bad for you!

I think you really only need two people to prove what something is worth. One who is willing to pay a certain price and then another who's willing to pay just a bit more than that person. Based on that, this thing is worth over 100 pounds easily.

that said, if the same person keeps driving up the price (whereas most people would get the one copy they need and then back out, keeping the value stable) then the ending prices we're seeing now arguably don't reflect the "true" value either. (i.e. take out BSI and replay all these 3-4 auctions over the past year and the prices could be drastically different)

Hehe. I shall keep trying!

I notice recently, Ditzy Scene and Appalling to Venus didn't sell and Sea Nymphs went for just 35. Seems cheap (/'cheap').
OceanLandWorld though, sure I saw was £165!

Greetings all, long time, etc.

I've got to raise a few quid fairly sharpish so I'm sticking a bunch of Cardiacs CDs on ebay, unless anyone wants to take them off my hands first for a reasonable price, & preferably as a job lot. Here's what's for sale:

ALMAAHATWWW (1995)
On Land And In The Sea (1989 original)
All That Glitters Is A Mares Nest (1995)
Songs For Ships And Irons (1991)
Sing To God 1 + 2 - Original double CD (1995, no sticker on case)
Sampler (1995)
Manhoo single (1995)
Signs single (1995)
Ditzy Scene single (2007)
Cardiacs/Camp Blackfoot Org single

There's a couple of superficial surface scratches on a couple of them but all play absolutely fine and have been well looked after.

If someone wants to give me £200 (+ postage) for the lot as a quick sale they've got a deal, otherwise we can discuss individual prices, though I'd rather do it in one go. PM me if interested. They're going on ebay tomorrow.

Cheers.

The Cardiac Arrest 7" went for less than the last copy of Day is Gone on eBay at the weekend.

All that stuff I listed is on ebay now with a three day listing. You might be able to grab a bargain.
