Karda Estra

Postby schlep » Mon Nov 19, 2012 21:52

The other thing I've been listening to obsessively this week - an 8 track free download from their webpage here to help persuade you why
http://www.kardaestra.co.uk/

Surprised if they haven't been mentioned in these pages before, as one Kavus Torabi figures on their 2011 alb 'New Worlds'.
The sounds here are pastoral proggy, gorgeous harmonies and arrangement, reminds me of NSRO, and Steve Hackett somewhat.
Do you know what I mean to say
I meant to say to you today
A day goes by I try thats why
I try to speak to you today

Yeah, it's great isn't it! Richard FB-friended me last summer (post Eppyfest, due to my Bill Drake vids), and embarrassingly I only just got into his music a month ago...

Very filmic and orchestral. It's lovely! Go download!

I too appreciate the work of these fine folk. A hat doff'd in the direction of the OP.
