My fave US indie band. If you don't know them, download or buy Milk Man. I can't say enough about them. Any other fans?

The Runners Four is very good but Milk Man is their masterpiece so far.

A belated shout out in support of the mighty Deerhoof!
They remind me of Cardiacs, in that their stuff is real harmonically advanced, but it rocks and scoots around and yaps like a shopping bag full of puppies.

http://myspace.com/deerhoof

And they have a website - sort of difficult to navigate though they have lots of stuff there: http://www.deerhoof.killrockstars.com

I saw them play in an outdoor amphitheater surrounded by trees, at a local college - magic! The drummer played his snare drum so hard he knocked it over, once.
