I had no idea there were Guapo t-shirts! Their website Merch page says "Under Construction". A good search for "Guapo T shirt" returns lots of them, nowt to do with the band though.

I nearly wore a Cardiacs t-shirt but opted for a Steven Wilson one, bought the night before in Wolves

I did wear my LMAAH t-shirt one day at the Marillion Weekend in Holland, two people spotted it (out of 3000!), one was a fan, one wasn't so sure!

A man hailed me and crossed the street, declaring "Alphabet Business Concern!" at the green T-shirt I'd forgotten I was wearing. I had the morning newspaper in my right hand, which I would have easily redistributed to my left hand had we the assistance of a professional social negotiator, but he offered his left hand and so did I. My left hand had my house key in it, so it was a little more awkward than even a left-handed handshake is by default. After establishing that we both knew the Sea Nymphs 2nd LP is on pre-order and that we were both aware that the new Spratleys Japs line-up is playing live soon, I scuttled away.

I might have scuttled a little too quickly, in my haste to get home and have a bath and shave and in my fear of possibly smelling like a man who needs a bath and a shave. I don't think I'm usually this much of a shambles but it all seems to go a bit wonky every time someone stops me for a Cardiacs-T-shirt-based interaction, so I suppose I have to consider that I'm the problem.

Sigh.

Just going to put this here, though I've already posted it in the wrong thread elsewhere:

I got 'spotted wearing a Cardiacs T-shirt' in the gift shop at Château d'Arques in southwest France back in July, by Steven Morricone from The Scaramanga Six. I was there with friends, visiting Cathar castles coz that's how we roll, he was holidaying with wife and child, and shouted "Cardiacs" at me from the other side of the booklets and postcards racks. We had a nice chat about Tim, re-releases, benefit gigs, Cardiacs family and that.

I said I'd say hello on farcebook but I forgot to. I'm gonna do that now...

Years ago, I was in Santa Eulalia in Ibiza. I was walking along the promenade when a bunch of local hippies saw me and shouted 'Cardiacs! Great band!'

I just gave them the thumbs up and walked on.
