I just gave him a prod, the choice to play the track was entirely his....he never takes much encouragement.

Stuart Maconie's Freak Zone last night, Baby Heart Dirt kicks off the show....

He suggests that a Cardiacs album will feature in a future program. Plus a new track from The Gasman at about 04:30.

Marc Riley, bless 'im, last night. Is This The Life, which he calls "one of the greatest records ever made", hard to argue with that :)

The ever-reliable BBC 6 Music, Chris Hawkins treated us to Is This The Life at an ungodly hour on Thursday morning :

That splendid fellow Mr. Stuart Maconie opened up his Freak Zone show the other Sunday (23/2) with Insect Hoofs On Lassie, which was nice :D

Twice in a week!

BBC 6Music, reliable as ever, and Steve Lamacq played Anything I Can't Eat on his Friday "Free For All", with a story concerning collecting everything Cardiacs-related.

TeamRockRadio scores [again] thanks to Steven Wilson and Tim Bowness, presenting the Prog Magazine on Saturday 19th. The Duck and Roger the Horse was the track of choice. :D

I'll post links to the listen again when they are both available - the BBC website is a bit snafu at the moment

EDIT : http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b049b6gv from 2:14:43

EDIT 2 : Dog Like Sparky from Saturday 12th July on TeamRockRadio Prog Magazine : http://www.teamrock.com/radio/on-demand ... 014-07-12# , 80 minutes in. Followed immediately by Stars In Battledress Hollywood Says So, and later Knifeworld Send Him Seaworthy at about 1:04:53

cheers

The TeamRock show is now available on demand :

http://www.teamrock.com/radio/on-demand ... 014-07-19#

Cardiacs discussed from about 99 minutes in, with The Duck.... kicking around 1:01:40, but the whole show is well worth a listen.

Apparently they are "Vertically complex" :D

cheers

How do do that thing do then?

I can get as far as a still picture of the shows with a volume icon in the top corner.
