Knifeworld live experience

Postby schlep » Mon Aug 17, 2009 14:20

Anybody going to the album launch tomorrow?
I wonder if they will have merch there - I will gladly pay somebody in POUNDS STERLING for picking me up a Knifeworld t shirt, if any such thing could exist (I have some nice cranberry colored paper money left over from my last visit)...

Kavus, Craig Fortnam on bass, that bald bloke Clippa thinks is worms on guitar, one of Sidi Bou Said, Sarah from The Monsoon Bassoon playing various wind thingies, a drummer with even more enormous hair than Kavus and a keyboard player with incredible sideburns. The gig was well good, the sound at 93 Feet East is pretty murky and unbalanced (This has been the case every single time I've been there, how have the staff not noticed how rubbish it is?) but the power of their rock pulled it all through. Pissed up on Brake Fluid sounded mighty, a beautiful song. Lovely gig huzzah!

It was Tom Clues on guitar, and the lass was Chloe Herington from the band Chrome Hoof, not Sarah Measures.
