The production is EXPLICIT - up to Steely Dan yacht-faring quality, the cd and package too!

I've only had it a couple of days and haven't really had the chance to get properly stuck in. On the first listen it kind of swept by me and nothing really took hold - second listen (on the train into work this morning) I found myself grinning from ear to ear. I might have to wear waterproofs for my third listen.

I love the cover. Not sure why he's walking through the woods in his 'going out' gear though. Some wellingtons and a kagool might be more appropriate.

"Unwreckaged" is maddeningly catchy. I detect the influence of "And The There Were Three" era Genesis. Ouch stop throwing things at me
I am loving this, it goes so much deeper than the Bassoon (fine as they were) - it is a lot to take in!

Fourth run through and it's starting to stick now :D Severed of horsehoof is lovely. Is this the same wifey who was in ... Monsoon Basoon (thanks schlep :D)?

I like it, there's a few standout tracks, but it's not quite up there with the Monsoon Basson/etc stuff for me. Admittedly I've played all the monsoon stuff to absolute death so that's one heck of a standard to live up to.

The album turned up a last week and I've been playing it off and on when I get a chance. I like it more and more each time. It seems somehow more intricate and varied than the Bassoon stuff, maybe that's not surprising for a hand crafted solo thingy.

Standouts so far: unwreckaged, wretched fathoms, me to the future of you and corpses feuding.

Incidentally did anyone else look at that photo inside and wonder why Kavus was doing Riverdance in the woods? :-)
