Not news exactly, but I just wanted to say...

I enjoyed the first album and listened to it quite a lot at one stage, finding it good for putting on repeat and getting some evening work done. (That's not faint praise, I need good intelligent music for that.) Then I put it away and didn't get it back out until after the benefit gig in Kingstaan.

It really wasn't a venue for picking out clever detail from a six piece band, Max Tundra had a big advantage with it being only him and his electric things, so I came away with the impression of a clatter and racket in a pub. However, Knifeworld tunes from both album and EP have been haunting my going-to-sleep and waking-up moments every day since the gig, in particular Pilot Her and The Money Shot (despite them not playing that one).

So he writes damn good tunes, and I am buying this EP in tangible form right now as we speak.

Also, only just noticed in the credits on Buried Alone, a mention of vocal insecurities, aw, plus a mention of erstwhile Maresnester Lol Drake.

For some reason I'm too lazy to work out, I can't get the stream for the Interesting show anymore. Please report back here when you find out what it is! I probably can't go even if it's a big gig but it still makes my gut go all butterfly feathers to think of it... :D

According to 'the internet' it's something to do with a big bit of Knifeworld and a little bit of Mr Drake.

Dreadfully late I know, but here's a lovely write up of that very gig, (which just came out today).
