or stonehenge 84 (which i've been led to believe is where The New General is taken from)

We had a thread for the Stonehenge '81 bootleg here, but it hasn't been updated in ages. As for the Brixton '83 bootleg, which is here, it looks like that hasn't been updated either.

Of course, you could always put in a request...
Hello little doggy,
My, you are a nice dog,
What did you just say then?
You could do some tricks! Oh, good, then will you show me?
My word that's a good one!
Would you like a cigarette?
No you can't, they're bad for you!

yes, thankyou for the brixton ace link - i first saw cardiacs in 84, and any recordings from this time or earlier get me very excited!

referring to the OP, i tried contacting this andy thompson chap about 6 months ago, but never received a reply

i do have a few of the related things from his list (unfortunately not the really rare stuff) - all on cassette but could convert and share them if you're interested:

monsoon bassoon - redoubtable
sleepy people - paint a ceiling on the sky
pop a cat a petal (this is somehow sleepy people related, think its early ultrasound?)
ring - clockwork people demo (thompson's list is the only place i've ever seen this on the web, mine is a cassette copy made years ago - not a 10/10 in sound quality though!)

thanks again spyda and a happy new year to you too!

stonehenge 84 appears to be a bit of a jigsaw puzzle - never heard those 3 tracks you just posted, but there's other songs from this show to be fond on youtube (posted in 2 parts)

according to this thread from the pond:

viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1049

the entire show was shared here a few years ago. anybody care to re-up (in the spirit of goodwill to all)?

I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in hearing these andrewb if you'd care to share? ;)
