I think 'The Breakfast Line' is my favorite song - today.
I was watching the Brighton video last night, it's inspiring to see Tim hunched over, playing the amazing guitar section of this tune, in tight communication with his muse. Genius! See again

Do you know what I mean to say
I meant to say to you today
A day goes by I try thats why
I try to speak to you today

Yes Whippersnapper, Music Non Stop indeed....album was 'Electric Cafe', released 1986.........it was the remnants of aborted 'TechnoPop' album that was due for release 1983. The first side is superb (culminating in 'Music'.....) second patchy. I have been lucky (inspired!) enough to see them live four times, 1981, 1991,1997 (famous Tribal Gathering gig) and 2004 (the MinimumMaximum tour).
Blown away by your seeing of original Ultravox Lamb.....on Systems tour? All first three albums have fantastic moments, also singles and Bsides ('Hiroshima' Live, jeezus gotta put it ON.......)

Yup...I think people only associate Ultravox with the Midge Ure-era stuff...they are missing out on so much... :(

An Ultravox! Fan, I am made up. What a find, I loved 'em but I was just getting into them and Foxx left...early hideous non gig memory, The Ure Vox toured off the back of 'Sleepwalk' and I got knocked back at the door and my mates got in! Devastated! Heard they did a few 'Systems' tunes......early Ure Vox had their moments, but 'Loves Great Adventure' etc. frankly, DREADFUL.
