I don't know if you know this but Bigshipiron was involved in the Pony project. I think the album is dedicated as a monument to him. He likes Cardiacs. A lot. In 1998 he paid them to play at his 30th birthday party. Which I think has got a bit of class to it.

Nah, he offered a tickets for last Novembers annual Cardiac bash for 12 1/2p . . . . first one got it, and you had to have a legit 1/2p

I remember that Pony was largely funded by advance sales, I suppose he has a fair bit to spare for that sort of thing.

just been listening to the album and i forgot how good the track Vine is....when it changes in the middle....WOW!

:shock: Stop whatever you're doing and buy it now - in fact, drive down to Salisbury and pick a copy up. It's one of the best things Tim's been involved with, I think. I've only had it about a year & a half and now I can't believe I lived so long without it. I'm not exaggerating either!

I like the way, well to my ears, it's like one long piece -- it's a surprise when you hear just a single track.
Get the EP as well while you're there...
