I'm David, 22, a Creative Music Tech student at UWE, Bristol.
Got into Cardiacs in early 2008, which could be looked at as the worst time EVER in history to get into Cardiacs (I still have my tickets to the would-be gigs at The Astoria and Thekla ).

I love writing music and I play guitar and sing in Doctor Nut - click the link for a nice little taster. I also love art, I love to draw and paint although studying sort of consumes my whole life at the moment.

I'm a huge advocate of long, lonely walks - seriously, if it's not something you 'do', then try it. I guarantee it'll help you with whatever you normally 'do'.

I joined this forum because a). it's hard to meet Cardiacs fans, and b). it'd be nice to meet other like-minded musicians, possibly for gigs and such!

My favourite ever Cardiacs song is 'March'.

So, I'm Giddy, 40 years old, married with two kids, and I live in a village in Bedfordshire. I've been massively into Cardiacs since my teens and have been lucky enough to see them live countless times. Favourite album is probably Sing to God (1 & 2 - can't split 'em) but it'll be something different tomorrow. I also love that there Spratleys album and Mr Drake's solo albums.

I'm Jon, 22 years old. I'm from Pennsylvania, in the US, and I discovered Cardiacs a little over a year ago over at ProgArchives (I spend far too much time there). I'm a big fan of progressive music, and I tend to particularly enjoy the type which is off the deep end - groups like Cardiacs, Magma (saw them live in September, great show), Samla Mammas Manna, Henry Cow, Ruins...I could go on all day. I'm into jazz and classical as well, along with some other types of entertainment - the Hitchhiker's Guide books and Futurama are the biggest two. As far as a favorite Cardiacs album - I'm torn between Sing to God (my first) and A Little Man and a House and the Whole World Window. Favorite song is a bit easier...almost always R.E.S.

One of my friends from over there (Trouserpress, I believe he's the same here) recommended I join the forums here, and I was happy to do so. If you want to know anything else (within reason, of course ) just ask.
