AUTHORITY GIG - Kavus Torabi

Postby Pet Lamb » Mon Jan 29, 2007 17:30

There now follows an announcement from THE ALPHABET BUSINESS CONCERN.

News has reached us concerning activities pertaining to CARDIACS
guitarist KAVUS TORABI and rumour regarding forthcoming show/s with
his own group AUTHORITY.

There now follows an announcement from AUTHORITY.

We can all agree that it’s 2007, but is your New Year commando?
Or has it gone AW.OL?
When you challenge The Devil to a game of cards, you can bet He’ll
insist on using His own pack.
Why do you think that is?
Oh I know, I know, you don’t want to hear about the war, “What about
the war I fight everyday”, is your mantra, “…the war in my head.” Let
me tell you, friend, you lost that twat years ago.
Perhaps it’s time to sever the ties that have bound you to a slumber
and fully wake up to exactly what’s occurring, to lift the lid on
precisely what is actually happening.
If you dare.
Yes, it’s time to lock horns with destiny, to throw a spanner in the
works.
Turn on your radio (pick a station- any will do) and ask yourself: Is
this really how you expected 2007 to sound?
Well is it?
Information canters, truth gallops. Why, then, are you careering
about the threshold with such a palsied gait?
There are no easy answers.
Authority will headline the Arts Theatre Club London on the 1st of
February.

It’s really that important.

Everytime I get one of those 'Cardiacs news' emails from the ABC my heart flutters and my left side goes tingly and numb. Is it just me?

I've never heard of the venue but it looks good. The 'curtains' on their homepage remind me of the old Cardiacs.com homepage: http://www.theartstheatreclub.com/

Yeah. It's in "The Seaside" bit. I may have even offered an MP3 up on there... I can't remember.

Admirals Hard MP3s are on their Myspace www.myspace.com/admiralshard the soulseek thing is on http://www.cardiacs.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=583 which if that didn't work is in "The Seanymphs" section and then "Admirals Hard" thread...
I have a "proper oldskool" iBook... I have virtual PC but I really don't like using it I might have a go later but this has already done my head in :-)
