Thats a very interesting design ! Almost stylish compared to other t-shirts. Didn't Jim always design them? I wonder who designed this?

I had that t-shirt. I swear it was green, though.

Nice! Great minds... fools, etc... You were a little more adventurous than us with the green - we just went for black.
Funnily enough, Field of Reeds is currently top of my pile too

Wearing my audiophile wanker hat for a moment though, would the deck not be better isolated, off the amp?

It was the last one in the shop, ex-display with a price reduction. I'd fancied a green one for a while, so it was a bit of a spur-of-the-moment compulsory purchase thingy.

Yeah, I think you're right. I want to find a solution that's both sonically and aesthetically satisfying, but being an OCD little twot, I doubt that'll happen. I think I'm going to have to build some chunky shelves in a nearby alcove and arrange 'em all vertically.
I had the turntable connected to an old Sherwood amp initially, whereas this otherwise superior NAD one doesn't have a dedicated phono input, so I'll be needing a preamp as well if I'm going to be using it with this setup.
File under "first world problems".

Huzzah! And huzzah again! I do feel sorry for those who spent ££££s on eBay for this. A bit.
cheers
