AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCMENT

Did you know, I've never really got on with the Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Mr. Drake album. I love the later Sea Nymphs stuff, but that forst album never used to do it for me. I may have to dig out the cassette and give it another go.

I think that at the time of the first reissue in cd, the cd was remixed, so it should very different from the cassette (even If I never heard the cassette actually)... less hiss and more clear details.

Never bought a spare CD before, an extra, but i'm going to now, in an hour anyway, and at last a thing that is actually Mr and Mrs etc. rather than invisible data.

There was a small glitch with the shop because a mouse got stuck in a pipe. Pony, Hazel and Mr. And Mrs. Smith and Mr. Drake are all now available.

yeay ! Received my Mr & Mrs Smith & Mr Drake and Pony CDs today ! Ever so very lovely

I only just realised that the M&MS&MD cover is a from a series of photos i had in a book about ghosts and spooks many years ago. I don't believe in them to be honest, but there were MANY a freaky and scary photo within it's pages. I think that set is from a collection photographing a bloke from olden times who had loads of people in a room, all connected with "ectoplasm" and was making ghosts appear and himself levitate on a chair.

Whilst inclined to assume it's all a bit of a parlor trick, it still is awesomely spooksome !!

The music of course, oh my life the music ! Never before in life have i had such adoration and love for a person i have never met ! Tim Smith and fellow musicians bring love into my heart every time i hear them !

I feel it's always best to keep an open mind. I like to think of myself as an average member of the human race, but I've had some truly strange experiences. I could put these down to an overactive imagination, but...

I don't like all that ectoplasm / levitation / ghost-summoning rubbish. I always say that the more elaborate it seems, the more fake it probably is. Anyway, there're plenty of books out there that blow the whole Victorian seance thing sky high.

Reading back over my post, it reads a bit smug. It was never my intention and my apologies. Such is the hornets nest of expression through the written word !

I don't believe in them, but i wouldn't ever consider myself any better than someone who does believe. I would never dare put myself above another. I know as little as the next man about such things. I guess i have to say i have never, ever seen any evidence of any kind to convince me of such things, but i wouldn't dismiss another person's experience so readily as my comment maybe sounded. Apologies if i offended anyone

Maybe the fact that i am creepied out by the suchlike, belies a certain respect for such phenomenal shenanigans from the dead and cold hearted logic somewhat cowers in the shadows, when faced with a darkened room in a lonely house.

Like I say, no evidence thusfar to convince me, but it'd be foolish of me to dismiss it all out of hand
