Buttons for eyes Cardiacs Merchandise.

Postby buttonsforeyes » Thu Oct 25, 2012 11:26

Hello, I have seen a lot of posts rating or slating me and my company, so I thought it was high time I introduced myself and what I do.
My name is Karla, I am the owner of Buttons for eyes, lots of you will know me already from Cardiacs facebook page.
Buttons for eyes is a small greeting card and gift company, Last year I decided I would like to do my bit for The fabulous Tim Smith, It started small, with just a few cards, but recently I have added mugs and a few t-shirt designs to my page all of which are limited editions of 50.
All money made from the sale (after materials and postage) goes to Tim, I do not make any money from these sales what so ever.
So there you have it, if you have any questions you can contact me via email at buttonsforeyes@btinternet.com or pop along to the website and have a look for yourself www.buttonsforeyes.co.uk.

Has there really been anyone slating it? I've just become aware of what you're doing and think it's nothing but excellent.

Not so much slating, but I think people are always dubious as there are so many people who sell things on ebay and Tim gets nothing from the sale... I like to think that i have been around for long enough now to have gained a morsel of trust..
If you were lucky enough to grab a t-shirt at this years benefit it was in fact one of my designs that is produced on one of my greeting cards.
and it anyone is desperate to get their mitts on one I am currently auctioning one one ebay which was donated by a lovely member of the pond all proceeds go to Tim :0)

Hello little doggy,
My, you are a nice dog,
What did you just say then?
You could do some tricks! Oh, good, then will you show me?
My word that's a good one!
Would you like a cigarette?
No you can't, they're bad for you!

Me too. And they're better than the ones that were being sold earlier this year by them dodgy LE14 clothing people...

Nooooo! Out of stock!

When will you have more of the black Little Man shirts? I don't fancy the Xmas one, but I will gladly buy the normal shirt (and might even be back for another).

Surely you can't mean this?

limited to 50 peices, there will be no more printed!

Nobody would be so cruel. Would they? Surely not.

Thank you very much for doing this, by the way. Very good of you to give your time and effort.

Hey Karla,

I don't suppose you'll be getting into the the reasonably priced Cardiacs album re-release business as well, will you?

(certain ebay prices still = :eeeek: )

cheers

I reckon you've opened a can of worms there, so to speak! While I'd love to see the CDs on sale again, so all the people I introduce don't have to go to AACs on iTunes, that would be a neverending obligation for the poor soul who would take it on.

Anyone who was disappointed by the Out Of Stock signs on the "Little Man..." shirts needs to dive back in that shop now. Orders are open again on those sizes, tell your friends and enemies

I thought they were 'limited edition of 50' ?
And if she only had stopped making that hissing noise . . .

Perhaps demand was underestimated! I bought mine when they were marked as "Limited Edition" but if they make 500, or 5000, or 5 gazillion, I'm not gonna get sniffy about it :D  .

At this rate, might soon have to revive the "Where have you seen a Cardiacs t-shirt?" thread... ::idea:

cheers
