A Book For a Book

Postby Belch » Sun Jun 05, 2011 00:05

Well, A Book For a Book was the working title anyway, but in the end I went for the snappier Aylesbury Bolton Wolverhampton Hove: A Little Man and 101 Cardiacs Gigs (fans of Yes need not ask about the title - others, I'll explain later, possibly). Anyway, it's here, it's ready, and my flat is full of the things, so please buy so's I can clear a bit of space (the hardbacks all got reserved ages ago - if you were down for one, they are sneaking out day by day - I expect all of them to be in the post by next Friday).

It's £15.95 which is a bit pricey, but that's because I went for luxury and lots of colour photos and there's 408 pages to get through. The most important thing is though, when we start to make a profit on the things, then there will be a donation to Tim (can't say more than this because I've no idea how much we'll make as I might have to send them all to a pulping mill if they don't go; suffice to say though, there's a way to go before we've covered our costs - if you were hitchhiking from London to Sheffield, we'd be at the equivalent of Toddington Services).

I'll shut up now and just say, go here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220791222116&ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT#ht_1830wt_932

Daft name for a service station, Gordano. During the troubled birth of the book there were many times I felt like we'd gone via the M5...

And Steve, cheers matey - back to stuffing envelopes for me...

I can vouch for that!

An excellent read which I can highly recommend to all Cardiacs' fans although...Belch claims he was too busy to join this forum (in the book).

Better late than never in joining up on here, eh Belch? :)
