Thanks guys. Finally I'm back in. I must say one thing though on behalf of any prospective new registering members, and it's this, that is the toughest anti-bot confirmation code field I have ever ocme across, it took me 4 attempts to read it correctly. Please consider changing it for the benefit of those who are slightly older with deteriorating eyesight and/or have colour differentiation problems.

Other than that, brilliant job on the new forum!

The idea was to get the forum up as soon as possible so that you fine folks wouldn't have to struggle through the day without it. The fine tuning and changing colour schemes will take place at a later date.
But we can of course shut down the forum for a few weeks so that Frosty can do his job without being hassled.

ok, i have added another anti spammer bit, now you have to fill out a field where you explain your reason for joining. this should make it easier to weed out the spammers when we activate accounts. plus it will drive the bots mad as their programming doesnt allow for it yet.

I think in a perfect world we should be able to customise the forum to look the way we want it. I.e. font sizes , colours where pics are etc . Is that even possable. I know you can do it with thinks like hotmail, Outlook etc but they are not public domains? I liked my Bright green text in another post. Can see lots of colourful writing and I dont mean clippas use of the English language

it is possible to have a list of styles that users can choose from. i might do that because there is no way of keeping everybody happy.
but you will just be able to pick a set theme, you wont be able to customize it.
