Get well cards / letters to the p.o. box sounds great.

All positive thoughts in his direction are a good thing, but the impression I get is that if they wanted to it to be public, they'd say something, so I'd hold off on the 'get well' cards and whatnot just for the minute...

I don't think Tim would appreciate the attention right now to be honest. I agree very much with Damian. I think that if Tim/the band wanted to inform the fans they would have done it.

I really think we should wait until there's an official announcement.

You have changed your name nancy. :)

Been listening to those two solo Tim gigs tonight, Camden Monarch and The Garage. How strange and brilliant they are. Brilliant especially.

I would agree.

We all hope he gets better, and I know that there are people reading this and/or the chatlist who know him well and can pass on the fact that there are lots of people thinking positive thoughts.

Ah... if it sounded rude, it wasn't meant to. I'm just of the view that they'll share as much or little info as they choose, and seeing as "little" seems to be the order of the day we should probably respect that.

He has a family to send him cards and grapes. Being fans is one thing, being creepy stalkers is quite another.

Get well soon, Timothy.

I agree with the privacy thing... we must bear in mind that they are a bit of a private band, and only seem to tell us things they really want us to know. Therefore I think that at the moment we must respect Tim's privacy by not speculating (I'm not saying that you are speculating and I'm not having a go at anyone) as they will inform us when they're ready. This said, the sending of positive vibes can only be a good thing as we all wish Tim well.
