Ticketweb has a listing for a Cardiacs show in Sheffield that wasn't on the official announcement.

Northerners, find a babysitter for your whippets NOW.

I'll have to get me best flatcap washed an' ironed too. :D Welcome to the forum by the way, Funex.

Hmm, Sheffield, I've had bad experiences there. Hopefully the Manchester gig will be announced very soon. Hope it's at the Academy, great venue that. Very clean.

Manchester date added for 21/11/07! http://www.seetickets.com/see/event.asp ... 2=art-srch

It says 'Manchester University', so 'tis the Academy.

Nice - this is shaping up to be quite an outing - their biggest since about 95-96 by my reckoning.

Should we start getting formerly excited about (whisper it) new material...?

:eeeek:

Hmm, you can get excited about leather if that's your thing - but it's not a new material.

This boron carbide nozzle on the other hand...

Nice nozzle. Is that for use with gas?

I'm more into molten boron myself.

If you were that way inclined, yes - but don't forget your polytetrafluoroethelyne tape - we don't want any seepage. God no.

Greyhound - I read flatcap as catflap and got thoroughly confused...

I read it catflap as Nuremberg Rally. It's worse for me because I once used catflap as a euphemism for labia, so I pictured him taking a steam iron to his post-op genitals.
