2007 Tour Dates Announced Officially...

Postby Pet Lamb » Mon Jul 30, 2007 16:45

The loyal… the faithful… the trustful.
YOU are all of these things.
Once was a time when THE ALPHABET BUSINESS CONCERN was A FIRM HAND, A GUIDE,
A FRIEND if you will.
THE ALPHABET BUSINESS CONCERN feel it’s flock has grown into responsible pillars, and is
proud of its hard work.
And YOURS.
What of the so-called newcomers, the be-daubed and be-knackered pillars?
The pillars that need attention.
Let us leave a FIRM HAND aside, and consider a STERN WARNING instead.
DO NOT clothe yourselves in the tawdry fashions of the BACKSEAT DRIVER.
MAKE NOT suggestions into the workings of Cardiacs cogs.
STEER NOT the ship.
No, YOU were NOT invited aboard, yet were made welcome anyway.
In return for YOUR kindness YOU will be given the rewards YOU so desperately crave.
As a generous token of our newfound ‘agreement’, how does this ‘grab’ YOU?

Follow THE ALPHABET BUSINESS CONCERN’s suggestion and these shows are just the beginning.
Interfere, and YOU will be punished in ways YOU can not imagine.
Vile ways.

With respect

THE ALPHABET BUSINESS CONCERN

More dates eh? I was thinking of going to Brighton as well as London, but i might just hold out in case they play Portsmouth again. That would please me no end. I kick my own face on a daily basis due to my love for Cardiacs coming into bloom about a month after the last Portsmouth gig.

Brighton and London: tickets purchased!

Oh yes.

I can't help thinking that they must have something up their sleevies to be doing a proper tour rather than just the Astoria.

New album (we dare not hope!)
Rereleased old albums (yes please!)
I've always wanted a CARDIACS BOX SET with SPECIAL EXTRAS. Now would be timely for such a thing.

Particularly with it being their 30th anniversary year (depending which date you go with)

Personally though, I'm just going to sit quietly and obediently and be grateful for whatever we're handed. :|

funex - I made a little Cardiacs Box set with 3 DVDs out of the DVD torrents that... I think it was Del... put up and the Wedgewood Rooms CD for my friend. Make your own while you wait for them buggers to pull their fingers out :-)

I'm still holding out for them to do Plymouth, and hoping that the more I say it, the more likely it is to happen...
