I have the first album and The World of Genius Hans and they're both very good. I don't find that so surprising though, as my experience has been that there's a heck of a lot of obscure European prog which doesn't deserve its neglect. I am sure I am not the only fan here of their self-titled 1970 album. There's a moment or two of Cardiacs, a bit of Gong and a whole lot of jazzy progness. gave the new album a listen, pretty good. went on to Skeletal Lamping and once i got used to the style i gotta say, i'm hooked After living with it for a while, Lousy with Sylvianbriar is fast becoming a favourite to rival even Skeletal Lamping (although not quite). I just listened to my whole Cardiacs collection the last two days. No. Remote. Comparison. Bob Totally agree. Very little similarity to Cardiacs but....how could there be? I think we are all agreed that there is no band actually like them other than copyists and those who absorb their influence out...
