Re: British Slang For American Punters

Git: you're more or less there. A generally unpleasant person, though not as strong as arsehole. Hitler, for instance, was a bit more than just a git. And really bears no resemblance to 'twat'. Twat is more in the line of village idiot. A reasonably gentle chastisement on the whole. I frequently be...

Re: What game did you play today ?

Ho hum.... Late to the FarCry3 party (as usual, late to any party...) but bought it just now in Steam sale using 'earnings' from crap i've sold that i've won in game playing CS:GO; so a FREE game :) quite chuffed so i thought i'd tell someone (anyone...) :) I dare say CS:GO nutters could buy a game ...

Re: What game did you play today ?

Still can't quite give up 6.50 for Bioshock Inf cos i didn't ever quite gel with the first two... DISHONORED is seeming pretty good for 4 quid though (steam sale), its got me sucked in waaay more so than either Skyrim (30 mins and realised would get more fun watching the kids play it) or Witcher 2 (...

Re: What game did you play today ?

So now it's F.E.A.R, which so far is an ok Half Lifey bash with a bit of Japanese type suspense spookiness and of course the time-slowing USP. I've read the reviews, I won't do the series. I loved ~FEAR~, thought it was really good fun, just the right balance of fearful suspense/action an a pretty ...

Re: What game did you play today ?

Well i'm in!! (after aforementioned update ffs) and really, i don't think its my kind of thing. Maps are to big for my tiny mind, and despite the fact i can't hit anything for toffee it just feels a bit slow (imo). Its quite pretty even on my aging rig, but i've never really got to grips with any of...
