Just finished '2312' by Kim Stanley Robinson - very odd, entertaining sci-fi - of the old school, actual science gets into the mix with speculative fiction; I gather that the author has a grounding environmental science. The story is sort of incoherent - concerning a power struggle at a pivotal mome...

Gamma Knife is my least favorite, for the sound quality. Indeed it does sound chaotic and not fully formed!

Try 'Choirs of the Eye' or 'Coyote' - the latter described by some pundit as a 'metal album with no guitars'...

Byrne did allow that he's not going to starve (and Fripp's doing OK I would guess, just persnickety), being lucky enough to be able to draw a crowd for his concerts, etc - but pointed out the difficulty for someone like his pal St Vincent, one or two semi-popular albums under her belt but no steady ...
