Amen to that, any of you in doubt or with an open mind, read The March Of Unreason by Dick Taverne, seriously good stuff. Ye wot? Surely not THE Dick Taverne - the first ever Social Democrat MP way back in 1973 at the Lincoln By Election! Ah, for by-election connoiseurs like me, a real character of...

i used to like Roger irrelivant and the victorian parents back when i were a lad. Oh I feel so ashamed of myself! How could I possibly have missed out the magnificent Roger Irrelevent, the most surreal cartoon character ever... "And there'll be more Grandfather clock chuckles next time...

i'm planning on evolving either wings and a beak or gills and fins and F#@king right off! Or maybe getting abducted by some aliens as i am in the countryside. Statistics show that aliens prefer to abduct friendless geeks and fat ugly woman that can't get a shag. Which means that they are either hav...

Okay folks. You want proof on climate change? Wondered why the Tories have suddenly gone all green? I discovered the answer to that one today at work! Had one of the horsey set on today getting her foal insured, and she said it had received a plasma transfusion within 2 days of birth. What was wrong...

Funnily enough, we had a debate about this over at the Free Church of Scotland's web board of all places. Viz when it is good, is very good. When it is bad, it is embarrassing. The sell off to a company that insists on doing it once a month was a mistake. The result is garbage like "Drunken Bak...

*EDIT* - I'm also tickled by the fact that the religious right has its knickers in a twist about the "occult" nature of the Harry Potter franchise, (a bit rich coming from purveyors of the supernatural, if you ask me) yet can't really do anything about it because its such an unstoppable s...

They don't touch me for insurance 'cos I'm under 21. I also have this annoyingness whereby I had insurance when I was provisional. So I have 3 years no claims and only got my licence last year. This makes it hard to get quotes and at the moment my current insurer says I only have 2 years no claims ...
