A paltry 134/200.
Quite surprised as I successfully bought this at about 10 seconds past midnight on the day of purchase!
Not that a silly old number matters.

Re: New pic
Marvellous to see him again! I guess his health must be improving if he's agreed to this being made public.

Re: Buttons for eyes Cardiacs Merchandise.
Joy! Can finally replace my old, faded, tight and threadbare T from 1990!

Re: "Live" and "Rude Bootleg"
Quite agree, the Garage recordings are incredible as a live document (despite any post production wizardry Mr Smith may have carried out!) and along with Clear Spot are the most oft played albums in my car! But Mare's Nest is just such an enjoyable film to watch (and it was the first CARDIACS gig I ...

Re: Cardiacs benefit gig T-shirts
My ancient and faded Little Man and a House t-shirt is far too tight, how I wish I'd bought a new one at the last gig in Brighton. I bought one for my then unborn son, who, I am proud to say chooses to wear it now he's big enough! ...and in the car today, when realising I didn't have Yellow Submarin...

Re: RIP Don Van Vliet (aka Captain Beefheart)
I came across Beefheart the same summer I first heard RES and subsequently saw Cardiacs live (1990). They are still my two most played artists (mostly when driving these days!) and was listening to Decals the day he died but didn't find out until late in the evening. Very sad. It is a tragedy (altho...

Re: Rarest Cardiacs Collectibles?
A joy to watch again and again and again and again and again.
Re: LSD
Turns out Jon Poole was working down the road from where I live last Summer and amongst other things he said LSD stood for Lysergic Acid Diethylamide of all things. He also backed up the Residents influence on the naming of R.E.S. It was weird because that same morning the last passage I'd been read...

Re: Rarest Cardiacs Collectibles?
I've got two original Mares Nest videos and the Seaside Treats vid both of which I lovingly committed to DVD 4 or 5 years ago. Still adoringly watched repeatedly. I know the latter don't count but I bet there aren't many of them!
