Re: Mares nest dvd out now!!
Aye. In chatting with those involved, the tape, though pretty good, was showing its age - so I assume cleaning up was done. It looks damn good :) I believe it was indeed a master copy. Sound should be musically identical to MN CD since Tim had to overdub it owing to the constant breaking down of his...

Re: Who is him?
ANYWAY, shall we return to the spirit of the opening post in the thread... (sort of) for those who earlier asked about Tim actually posting, but might have missed this: Hello Kidz! (You will notice that I spelled the word kidz with a 'z'). I have been bowled over and knocked back by the outpourings ...

Re: Where have you seen a Cardiacs t-shirt?
is this a chance for me to wheel out my "chatting to Steven Wilson about Cardiacs" story again? :) my mate bumped into a drummer in his samba wanderings in Brum recently who was sporting a natty big flower shirt. That anyone on here? Does samba drumming and cardiacs liking actually work as...

wow. That's certainly the way to reach a wide audience. Good luck to them I say! I do fondly recall that back in the days of the forum for The Chameleons we'd occasionally get random posts from ChameleonCondo who seemed to want to seriously discuss the whole chameleons-as-pets thing. If it was a jok...

Yeah, it's great isn't it! Richard FB-friended me last summer (post Eppyfest, due to my Bill Drake vids), and embarrassingly I only just got into his music a month ago...
Very filmic and orchestral. It's lovely! Go download!

He's also in Swans. That says a lot.
<3 Shearwater also.
Sadly Thor wasn't on the tour for some reason (don't think it's permanent) - but this guy was just awesome too

Shearwater
Well I saw Shearwater in Bristol last night. and it was pretty much the finest of the not very many gigs I've seen all year. Awesome bunch. Way better than on record, and I'm quite the fan of those as it is. So if you don't know, but you probably do... Jonathan Meiburg's vocals are a sort of soaring...

watched them on Jools. Too cool for school. Not my thing, but I tried valiantly honest. God I'm getting so grumpy in my dotage.
that name is indeed terrible. It's like a sixth form band's name....!!
Of course, next year I intend to take the charts by storm, thereby proving my point.
Possibly.
