Re: Tim on Jarvis and new album push

I remember at one of the last set of Astoria gigs, a dad had flown from Italy with his son to take him to see Cardiacs... 17 november 2007, I was there too with my friend Alomar - also here in the pond - :D Also the year before, 10 november 2006, I flew fom Rome with my daughter to see Cardiacs at ...

This album is really great! This morning I played it in my car in the Roman traffic jam, and it was a delight, it's incredible how good is every single track of this CD, from Big Ship to All His Geese Are Swans.
This could be the perfect album to suggest for an approach to Cardiacs music!

A great song, not as complex as usual, but really a great song. I love it, not only was it my first Cardiacs song, but also because it's the only Cardiacs song that you can still regularly hear on the italian FM station Radio Rock, so it's the only chance to get new italian people into Cardiacs (me ...

This reminds me the suggestions that Brian Eno and David Bowie gave to Adrian Belew during the sessions of David Bowie's LODGER: Adrian Belew: by the time I was brought in there were supposedly 20 tracks to work on. I was very anxious to hear them but david and eno patiently explained their concept....

I think this is a good one for introducing people to Cardiacs - except it might even be a little too strong! Any three or four songs in sequence...all great tunes and I can't even pick favorites. That's true, it’s really too strong! Maybe I wouldn’t suggest it for an approach to Cardiacs music (but...

"5 or 7 days before the event" We can only believe this, otherwise I'll print the confirmation mail and come to London anyway... Make sure you either get the tickets or otherwise get them to confirm that they've given them to the box office (if that's what they decide to do). This is impo...
