Ooh, a poll - it's been a while! :D Ha, yeah, you missed a trick there. None of the above for me although I do like the song. My favourite versions are Willie Nelson's and Ryan Adams'. The decision to pitch these two songs against each other is a bit weird, isn't it? I can't imagine your average X-...

I liked Daisy Chainsaw. I saw them supporting Cardiacs at The Venue in New Cross, would have been 1991 or thereabouts. I think it was one of the first gigs they (Cardiacs) played after Jon replaced Bic, but I could be wrong about that.

I wonder if it really was cardiac arrest - looks like very few survive it (as opposed to heart attacks, strokes)

Schlep - a cardiac arrest IS a heart attack - they are two names for the same thing.

Shall we just all move to Bristol... we could all live in the same street, nip in and out the back doors; it would save logging on, passwords and that. :) Nice to meet you Steerpike, and welcome. Very good drawer that Mr Peake, and a very good book that Mr Pye. I lived in Bristol for a while. While...

Dr Who fitted well with my childhood. Jon Pertwee was just a cracking good laugh, with his camp clothes, robot dog & vintage car. Then just as I hit adolescence and everything started getting complicated, along comes Tom Baker with his 'what the ****?' look & saucy female assistants. Er, Pe...

I don't think Tim would appreciate the attention right now to be honest. I agree very much with Damian. I think that if Tim/the band wanted to inform the fans they would have done it. I really think we should wait until there's an official announcement. I would agree. We all hope he gets better, an...
