Re: For The Benefit Of Mr Smith

Benefit on 30th June nearly sold out. Just 20 tickets left. Redbus Noface will be excellent as always and The Trudy will be playing some tunes that will be on their new album. I've heard alot of them and they are super fantastic. damn damn damn damn damn I'll be in London two weeks later!...

Help me find gigs in London!

Well hi! Anyway I'll be in London through the 13th-21st of July and am need of assistance! Anyone who has any information of any gigs worth checking out (well this is Cardiacs forum you must have taste somewhat similar to mine), then don't be shy to mention them! Re: The Museum is closing its doors

Thanks for all the hard work!! The Museum is one of the sites I snoop for and look for weird Cardiacs artifacts. I was worried when you didn't update for half a year, apparently rightfully so :( . But still, great job!

Re: Cardiacs Website

Good god that's just tragic. I honestly don't know how it is for Cardiacs to be an active band. All I know is this hibernating machine, and all I want is to wake it up. Alas, patience is needed. A lot of it. Possibly years. But hell, I'll wait my whole life. I love this band more than life itself fo...

I totally agree, but it's also OK to dislike these groups with a fiery hatred.

I shall write a haiku for Manowar:

Manowar I hate
Until it makes me vomit
sorry I'm a dick

I have really been listening to the Skull Mailbox, and it really is masterful. Honestly scary music.

Re: Cardiacs Website

A question, is absolutely everything available on iTunes now? What's not? (For the purposes of sharing info, I have no interest in iTunes myself) ummm... I think all officially released Cardiacs stuff is there (not including singles, 7", 12", tapes and such), but any side project likes Sp...

Re: big ol' kavus piece on the quietus

yeah, book of knots are great. I liked the first two albums, but the third is just magnificent. easily their best, I'd say. carla kihlstedt has the most unbelievably beautiful voice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sF-clJA6aAs your K interview was rather spiffy. I was really glad you asked about &qu...

Re: big ol' kavus piece on the quietus

thanks for the feedback. was a bit nervous how it'd go down among you learned fishies. anything else lined up writing-wise? well, I do reviews/interviews for the Quietus occasionally, though nothing on the horizon at the moment. however, I write for Rock-a-Rolla magazine every other month, includin...

Re: I interviewed Kavus!

It's enjoyable though many of the people there aren't really intelligent- which is to say that they don't like Cardiacs. But once in a while in between all the people who are like "blahhh Genesis blahhhh" there's some interesting discussions.

Re: I interviewed Kavus!

Thank you kind sir! I'm assuming your Ady Random on PA (it's a pretty wild guess but it just might be true).

Thanks for liking it! It was great fun.
